Self-Introduction
I have 20 years of experience as a photographer and 15 years as an editor and writer. I am capable of handling both photography and writing, even when it comes to interviews and other situations requiring both. I currently work freelance in a wide range of fields, including web, magazines, and catalogs. After working as an assistant at a photo studio, I spent seven years at a publishing company, working as a photographer, editor, and writer. During that time, I primarily produced skateboarding magazines, but also military magazines and various other books. My photography experience spans a wide range of genres, from sports photography to in-store interviews, location shoots of models, studio product photography, and portraiture. While these types of on-site interviews are often handled by a photographer and writer, I have handled them solo. By doing so, I can share my experiences with both parties, which I believe has led to better quality work, and I consider this to be my greatest strength. Since going independent in 2017, I've set up my own photography studio and shoot there. I also own a car, so I often take my own equipment on location and travel to distant locations for interviews and shoots. I'm also a professional member of NPS (Nikon Professional Services), and in addition to using high-end equipment (see below for the equipment list), I use four editing software programs (Bridge, Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, and Photomechanic Plus) for different purposes to achieve a more efficient workflow. I strive for prompt delivery, and depending on the schedule and the level of retouching, I can even deliver the same or next day.
